The Ekko festival is an art and music festival in Bergen that mainly focuses on electronic music and contemporary art. The festival has since the start back in 2003, made a strong impression on both in Norway and in Europe and is considered an important participant in the Scandinavian electronic music scene. With its foundations in a local and regional living environment in electronic music, the festival has worked actively as a network builder both for Norwegian, Nordic and European artists and the various scenes within electronic music. Ekko is closely connected to various local operators and has to a large extent been driven forward by passionate and idealistic people in Bergen's music and art scene.

Ekko festival's musical expression encompasses a multitude of genres, with electronica music as the common denominator. The main content consists of music, but each year the festival has brought together cooperating partners within the fields of film, fine art, video art, and interior architecture. These contribute to the ability of the festival to present a consistent program that bridges different art expression.
